Chalet Petit Ours

Chalet Petit Ours is situated high on the exclusive Savoleyres area of Verbier and it boasts breathtaking views of the snow cloaked mountains and Verbier below. This traditional alpine home offers everything you could desire from a mountain hideaway to ensure you have a relaxing winter break.

The chalet develops on 4 floors, it consists of six individually designed bedrooms, sleeping 11 people and it is a perfect winter retreat for a large family or group of friends. All the bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms.

You enter the chalet through the spacious ski room, fitted with heated boot warmers and plenty of storage space for skis. There is also a ping pong table in the ski room and private laundry room off the ski room.

Through the stairs you reach the first floor where is a dedicated TV room, with open fire and large cozy seating, an area perfect for the younger members of the family to retreat to after dinner. Additionally, on this floor there are two twin bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

One of the highlights of the chalet is the outdoor hot tub, set on the large balcony with panoramic views of the Grand and Petit Combin and Mount Blanc Massif. This is the ideal place to unwind after a long day on the slopes, and if you need an extra dose of relaxation there is also a hammam with en-suite shower.

On the second floor we find the main living and dining area, with double height vaulted ceilings and large sliding glass doors, which allow the warm mountain light flood the room creating a welcoming atmosphere. The space has been carefully designed with relaxing and entertaining in mind, focused around the beautiful stone fireplace, blending traditional antique wood and elegant modern furnishings. The sliding doors lead to the large balcony, the perfect place to relax and watch the sun goes down behind the mountains with pre-dinner drinks. The dining area is set off the living area and the large table can comfortably seat 10 people.

There is a large separate well-equipped kitchen off the dining room, with double doors that can be closed for privacy. Moreover, on this floor is an office and guest WC.

Taking the stairs up, you reach the top floor that is home to the master bedroom, tastefully furnished, with a private balcony, walk through wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. On this floor there are also two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower room and each with its own style.

Chalet Petit Ours is the ideal housing for a large family or group of friends, and it can be booked on a self-catered or catered basis. When you book the chalet on a catered basis a dedicated driver is included, ready to drive you to the slopes for first lifts.
